Getting the kitchen design of your dreams might be easier than you think. That was certainly the case for this stunning vintage-style design. Pro designer, James reached out to CliqStudios to complete this Craftsman kitchen with a moody color scheme for his personal clients. It was clear from the start they had a specific vision for the remodel.
James worked directly with CliqStudios designer, Minda Sphatt on this project. She spoke about James’ preparedness and what it was like working with him on this project. “James came to me with a new project, and I was excited to work with him again! After an initial design consultation, I had all the information needed to get started on a rough draft of the design.”
“We then worked on tweaking the design to get things just right to match his vision for what he wanted this space to look like. It took us a few tries and renderings to achieve the look we both liked, but we got there!” This kitchen design included quite a few upgrades. Custom stacked pantry cabinets and baseboard molding created the built-in furniture look while roll-out trays, a wastebasket pull-out and lazy susan added function to the cabinets.
Most of the kitchen was finished in Craftsman line’s Brentwood inset door in Eucalyptus. To add a two-tone dynamic, the island was finished in Eagle Rock for a masculine touch. No detail was left untouched. James painted the ceiling and gorgeous wall paneling in a matching green tone to add drama while the exposed brick walls brought even more character.
Minda continued, “After client approval, and a triple check of the measurements, we got the cabinets on order. Once they received cabinets, James’ talented team completed installation with little to no questions. I loved watching James’ social media posts throughout the installation process and to see what fun design elements he incorporated.”
This kitchen design is a fantastic example of partnership. Whether you have a clear vision of what you want or need help developing your design, CliqStudios designers can provide expertise and direction. Minda was a great resource for James and could guide him to the perfect cabinet line and layout based on his client’s needs.
Minda finished talking about the project by saying, “It’s rewarding for me to see an idea become real life. While it takes time to do a kitchen remodel, the end result is amazing and worthwhile! James did such a great job, and it was such a joy to team up with him on this project.”
