Coming up with a design for a rental unit isn’t always easy. Not only do you need to consider the styles and finishes you enjoy, but what will be most durable and enjoyable for renters too. Pro, Mark Coons and his wife worked hard with CliqStudios to create a beautiful design that could stand the test of time.
Together with CliqStudios designer, Nicole Stanley, to come up with the perfect kitchen design. The large kitchen was given a U-shaped peninsula design with tons of storage and countertop space. Multiple base cabinets were filled with roll-out trays and a corner lazy susan to add convenient storage.
Cabinets were finished in RTA line’s Northfield door style in Stone, a light gray stain. To complete this modern design, the homeowners used matte black cabinet hardware, expansive white quartz countertops and subway tile for a sleek look. Decorative accents like straight crown molding and decorative doors on the peninsula end finished the design with a special touch.
Designer Nicole commented that they all worked together on ordering samples, and she provided options from different lines and renderings to find the perfect color. In the end the homeowners decided to go with the sleek Stone stain which is great for busy kitchens. With the finishes and materials used, this kitchen is designed for durability.
